LITTLE SIS

LITTLE SIS IS OUR SISTER WHO IS INSPIRED BY THE LORD TO LOVE, HONOR AND PERSONALLY PAY TRIBUTE TO ALL OUR VETERAN BROTHERS FOR THEIR SELF SACRIFICES.

LITTLE SIS HAS A VERY LOVING HEART AND A VOICE OF AN ANGEL.

WHEN SHE SINGS TO YOU, THE ANGELIC TONES REACH DEEP INTO ONES HEART AND RESTORES THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH BRINGS CLARITY AND PEACE BACK INTO ONES LIFE.

LITTLE SIS IS A TRUE BLESSING TO ALL VETERANS WHO HAVE MET HER AT TRUCK STOPS, WELCOME HOME

TRIBUTES, VIETNAM MEMORIAL TRAVELING WALLS AND VETERAN FUNCTIONS SHE IS A TRUE INSPIRATION AND ONE WILL FEEL THAT WHEN SHE APPROACHES THEM AND ASKS IF THEY ARE A VETERAN. WHEN THEY SAY YES I AM A VETERAN, SHE WILL REACH OUT AND SHAKE THEIR HAND.

SHE WILL SAY WELCOME HOME BIG BROTHER, THEN TELL THEM THAT SHE IS THEIR LITTLE SIS, THEN SHE WILL HAND THEM A BANDAID FOR THE HEART PIN AND THEN WILL GIVE THEM A BIG HUG.

THIS IS A HEADS UP BECAUSE MOST OF US VETERANS WERE IN TEARS WHEN WE MET LITTLE SIS FOR THE FIRST TIME. THE TEARS CLEANSED OUR SOULS AND BROUGHT PEACE BACK TO OUR HEARTS.

AS ONE LOOKS AT THE PICTURE ABOVE, ONE CAN SEE THE INSPIRATION A VETERAN NICK NAMED, BANDIT HAD WHEN HE MET LITTLE SIS. HE DESIGNED THE PICTURE TO SHOW HOW INSPIRED HE WAS WHEN HE FIRST MET LITTLE SIS AND RECEIVED HIS BAND AID FOR THE HEART PIN.

FROM MY HEART THE PICTURE IS INSPIRING \AND A BLESSING TO ALL VETERANS.

I ASK THAT ALL MY VETERAN BROTHERS WHO HAVE MET LITTLE SIS AND HAVE THE BAND AID FOR THE HEART PIN TO STAND TALL AND WATCH OVER OUR BROTHERS IN ARMS.

I CAN’T THANK GOD ENOUGH FOR THE DAY I MET MY LITTLE SIS.

IT WAS A LIFE SAVING EXPERIENCE.

LITTLE SIS YOU ARE THE ANGEL THAT SAVED ME.

LADY OF THE WALL

A quiet place where crossing of paths were meant

Takes up her position just outside the locator tent

No glaring signs, neon lights or long lines to circumvent

A strong yet very fragile mission is for her the only intent

With darting eyes she sits looking for that special face

Seeing gray hair, a thousand yard stare from that far away place

Then slowly an attempt is made to enter into a Nam vet’s space

An uncomfortable but genuine "Welcome Home" hug two souls embrace

He came alone to that black wall, cement boots slowing his very start

Spinning thoughts of evil emotions erupting from a wounded heart

Into a weathered hand a small pin is placed, a new healing to impart

Rub it, feel its warm meaning, you are no longer alone no longer apart

Another successful mission accomplished by the lady of the wall

Shows a small smile when she knows she has made the right call

Shoulders a little remorse knowing she will never meet them all

Wall after wall there's the time for you to meet the lady of the wall

TRIBUTE to "lil sis" The real "lady of the wall"
